The book gives a brief overview of his life before creating Disneyland so there wasn’t much detail of his early childhood years but I still enjoyed reading it. The book is a biography on Walt’s life from birth, growing up in Marceline, Missouri on a farm to creating one of the world’s most successful, and amazing theme parks that millions of people enjoy going to. Who was Walt Disney is a great book that talk about the famous creator of Disneyland, which is one of my all-time favorite places to be with my family because it really brings happiness and makes me enjoy being with my family. The kids all know a Disney movie so I am glad they got a chance to know the man who made the movies happen through this book. Boys and girls a like will get so much out if this book. I feel all of the kids will enjoy this one. I think keeping this book in our home library is a must. Maybe we should plan a trip to Disney World soon! I love Disney and these facts are true and a fun read. Now she can tell us all about Walt Disney. This book had so many wonderful facts that our young I've wasn't aware if before she read the book.

I am going to check out other books from this author because I really thought it is very well written. We really like giving educational gifts and this was a big hit.
